enviaM aimed to enhance the digital experience of their customers. They wanted to motivate them to use the iONA mobile app more, and increase transparency in relation to their energy consumption.
Solution
To achieve their goals, enviaM launched their “Happy Hour” service with the help of NET2GRID. Every day, from 7pm to 8pm, their customers were offered a reduced off-peak tariff, paying half the price of the electricity they consumed during this hour.

Insights from the decision makers
During COVID, we gave our customers a month of 100% happy hour. Electricity consumption rose sharply at that hour and they used their app more often. Customer gratitude, satisfaction and loyalty were significantly increased.
